Robotic-assisted Laparoscopic Liver Resections - Technical Considerations for da Vinci Xi

As laparoscopic approach becomes increasingly routine for liver resections, several centers have also adopted the robotic approach for its many purported benefits of magnified steady views, intuitive instrument articulation, and tremor filtration amongst others.
In this article we highlight the technical considerations specific to robotic-assisted laparoscopic liver resections for the da Vinci robotic Xi Surgical System.
