Chirurgia only accepts electronic submission of manuscripts, directly onto the journal's Web site, after you will register the SUBMIT ARTICLE form.
Authors must NOT submit a copy of the article to the editorial office.

Open Access

Chirurgia provides free access to the full text of articles. The abstract of each of the published articles will immediately be placed on PubMed. Chirurgia uses LinkOut service to provide links from PubMed abstracts to full-text articles.
Open Access Fees: Members of the Romanian Society of Surgery will not pay open access fee. Non-members of the Romanian Society of Surgery will pay open access fee.

CHIRURGIA is a bimonthly open access journal, with a comprehensive peer-reviewed process, that focuses on interventions and surgical procedures. Novel techniques and the utilization of new materials that optimize outcomes constitute major areas of interest. The journal welcomes original articles, surgical techniques, clinical trials, comprehensive general reports or expert opinions and commentaries relating to all aspects on surgical topics.
Clinical case presentations will be published according to the available space, only one per number. Thus the waiting time can be very long. The journal does not encourage the submission of clinical cases.
